Mr. Vandal's Ally

Every graffiti writer knows the night is where we thrive, it's in our DNA. Here's one of my favorite Kingspray night maps. When I explore these maps, I’m looking for environment, vibe, and mood. That gritty, lonely, and isolated atmosphere we all know from painting in the early hours. Here’s one I highly recommend, along with a little tour of this beast. This gem was created by Mr. Vandal in the Kingspray Level Design Discord:

This is a Grade A, masterfully crafted level — seriously, it's amazing. Let me break it down: not only does it look incredible, but it paints flawlessly. The wall resolution is spot-on, with crispy lines and solid textures that make your piece look like it’s hugging the wall.

How many paintable surfaces does this map have, you ask? Hmm... I don’t know — how about EIGHT?!Bro... what?!

1. This light brown wall on the left starts at the blue and yellow barrel and stops at the metal fence.

2. This wall on the right under the light is an awesome spot to do a cool little stomper and get a really nice flick with some good lighting.

3. Just left of the light, this spot allows you to get a cool flick with 3 bags filled with who knows what — body parts, maybe?

4-5. This concrete barrier and dumpster are also paintable. Mr. Vandal is spoiling us.

6. This one is my favorite on the map. It's the perfect size for 1 or 2 people to stretch their wings and do something that doesn't require too much vertical work. It's the perfect size for a quick little banger.

7. The Pizza wall — pretty dope. It has some extruding walls that give you a little something to play with, also setting the mood with a little fluorescent action. Nice.

8. Last but not least, the iconic blue mailboxes used by the USPS. Nothing says 'destroy the system' better than dragging the USPS mail system down some more! Who remembers walking out of the post office with an ungodly amount of shipping labels? I will not confirm nor deny.

   
   

So as you can see, this map is very well put together, with a rich environment. The walls are dope, the lighting is great, and the trees are actually pretty realistic. There are so many different opportunities for amazing pics and video footage for content creation. You will definitely be busy on this map. If you like basketball, there's also a hidden court, but I’ll let you discover that on your own.
